Bunnies do eat your pansies, just so you know.
We have enjoyed watching this bunny in our yard this year. We think that it has a nest in this natural area that we have yet to touch in our yard. It is the perfect area for wildlife to hide, as it is very wooded and natural (hence the name-natural area ;) )
Twice now, without a camera in hand unfortunately, we have pulled into our driveway and have seen our bunny sitting right there at the sidewalk. It is amazing to have such a close view of the bunny. The first time my daughter, Hannah, tried to go inside to get the camera so we could take some pictures of it up close. It hopped away. I only have a small mini movie of the bunny hopping back to it's nest that really isnt very good-but you can see it's cottontail popping up and down as it ran away. The other day, my son and I pulled into the driveway, and saw the bunny sitting right there once again. I didn't have my camera, but did call my daughter on the phone so she could come to the window and watch. We watched him eat various grass, weeds ... and then.. a stray patch of pansies that had come up in an area that is now grass where we used to have a flower bed. My daughter called me back laughing and said, " He ATE the flowers!!" We laughed together about it as we watched this bunny eat. He also ate a dandelion, leaving the fuzzy part to the ground (which looked really funny -seeing the fuzz fall from his mouth) We watched for about 15 minutes before we finally got out of the car to go inside. Of course when we got out, the bunny hopped away to its nest again.

Bunnies will eat your vegetable garden as well. They're nearly impossible to shoot with a camera, too. I've tried several times.

We knew they would eat veggies, but the flower thing surprised us. (though after a search online-I found it is very common..learn something new every day!)
