My daughter, Hannah, who is 15, wrote this today as a part of her daily creative writing. I enjoyed it-and so for a second time here on this blog, is a bit of the spin she puts on the world...
Is it really a new month? It seems like just a week ago it was, all of a sudden, January 1. Now, instead of books on how to loose weight and low-fat, no calorie foods right inside the doors of stores, there will be rich (very rich) milk chocolate candy hearts, dark chocolate candy hearts and those little disgusting chocolate bars that taste like rasberries or some other weird fruit. It's not like I don't like the chocolate, it is just funny how stores stop pushing the books on diets so they can make a lot of money off people that are wanting to buy candy now that it is February. (and that means Valentine's Day) It is fun to go and look at all the different kinds of candy that is companies make just for Valentine's Day and just drool over it all. (just make sure to leave the fruity or coconut chocolate candy there!)

What is so funny is how right it is. Interesting seeing the world through the eyes of your own kids...especially seeing what they pick up on that we so often take for granted.
