Falling from the tree
Swirling around and around
Drop, to swirl again
haiku by muddy
Growing up, spring always brought the budding of trees and these things we called helicopters. they would fall from the maple trees in our front and back yard. As a child, it was fun to pick them up to watch then twirl around and around over and over again. It was fun to gather a handful of them and drop them from the top steps of our house. All at once, you would watch them flutter about, swirling downward in spirals.
Praise God for the little things we love in His world.

I LOVED these when I was a child - it was like God sent us toys to play with! I still enjoy them!

Amazing how many things God has given us in the yard that can become toys with a little imagination. :))
